DescriptionPericardial sac with heart showing tuberculous pericarditis. Both layers of the pericardium show fibrous thickening and have
been adherent over the right ventricle where a rough surface has been
exposed by separating the layers by dissection.Where the surfaces
are not adherent bands of fibrous tissue connect them or hang loosely within the cavity.Microscopically the condition is tuberculous.
