TitleArticulated skeleton on stand
CreatorTramond
DescriptionArticulated skeleton on stand
This is a tall, male skeleton which has been prepared by Maison Tramond in Paris (Tramond label on right temporal bone). The joint articulations are very well made, allowing flexion-extension of knees and elbow, and pronation/supination of the forearm.
There have been some bones of the hand and feet lost through time (see conservation assessment) and some form of consolidation matrix has been applied into the orbits, and on the left temporal bone - it is uncertain what it is, and whether this was done during the original preparation, or at a later date.
