A device that did not require radiographs, a rigid fixation was produced and a chance of non-union was reduced or even eliminated. Weight would have been able to be tested on the inflicted area after 7 days.
A right-angled nail plate with compression for various osteotomy. Nail section is formed at a right angle to the three-hole plate with a box section that has a flat base. Specifically designed to withstand compression stress.
The device is heavily scratched on the nail side, and has three places for screws. Included are four screws for insertion.
Inscription on the device reads: 'L.S.C.J. 1 3/4in.'
