DescriptionOne of two drawings of James Scott, a student from the Queensland Medical School, Australia, who was lost in the Himilayas for more than six weeks. He had neither supplies nor shelter. His survival without food for forthy three days became the longest proven record of human endurance in medical history.
Here he is depicted curled up on the ground, arms wrapped around himself.
