DescriptionThese forceps are used to compress or hold the tongue of the patient during procedures that require the tongue to be moved out of the way, for example, to see the back of the throat for a prolonged period of time. The end of the forceps have holes in them that are rough. This enables the doctor to grip the tongue, or it allows rubber ends to be attached to enable a better grip.
Engraved on the forceps is, DOWN ENGLAND, STAINLESS STEEL, W4.
