DescriptionDouble ended hooked steel instrument, ebony handle. The cutting edge on the concavity on one side of the hooked instrument is a destructive tool, used for the removal of a dead foetus to avoid infection. The larger hook on the opposite end of the tool, could be used for normal deliveries to bring down a limb.
