Opener is in three parts, two arms and one adjustable head. On the base of the arms are serrated jaws for fixation to teeth. Arms are adjusted through the screw lock mechanism. Engraved on the head with made in Dundee. This type of mouth opener is also known as a Heister Mouth Opener. On original label "Farquarson p.557 to open clenched teeth."
