She was also the subject of a carcinoma of the mamma. The skin is raised by a spherical mass, some 50 mm in diameter, in the subcutaneous tissue. The tumour is of a dark brown colour, well-defined at the periphery but in the subcutaneous tissue at some distance from it are several dark spots from lymph-vascular dissemination of the tumour cells.
