DescriptionCase of surgical instruments used in World War One (WW1). Stamped with the War Office stamp. Wooden case containing three chrome plated trays which can be removed and sterilised. Contains an array of knives, saw, trephine, probes and retractors. Some the items are still wrapped in greaseproof paper.
