Some 25 mm. from the external urethral orifice a narrow stricture of the urethra is indicated by a black bristle. There is a warty irregularity in the urethra of the glans. In the bulbous urethra the epithelial lining is ragged and in the prostate dilatation of the ducts forms definite spaces. The musculature of the urinary bladder is hypertrophied, the capacity of the organ restricted and its epithelial surface trabeculated.
