TitleBone handled blade in box
DescriptionAnimal bone blade in a wooden box. The catalogue records this as Collot's Lithotome. Collot presumably refers to Collot Freres a Paris instrument maker. The blade has an 'S' inscribed and a small symbol. The blade has groove running down the centre on one side. The tip of the blade has broken off. The bone handle has three spiral detail metal studs. The box has two cut outs and small clasps to hold the instruments in place, therefore persumably at one point the box held two blades.
