DescriptionIllustrative collection of four urethral catheters once displayed in the museum. The old label has been removed but the information retained. There are four catheters, one French Bi-coude, one French Coude, one prostratic and one red rubber. The prostatic catheter has grooved flexible curved end. The red rubber is in good condition and has a small wooded cork like removable tip. The black material is degrading and has stuck to previous packing which is now attached to the material both have ivory/bone tips.
The red rubber is stamped ' Jes' Catheter, 12 Strade - Mark'. One of the black instruments is made by Young, Edinburgh.
