DescriptionSet of bougies. A bougie would be introduced into the urethra to ascertain where a blockage may be or to dilate a constricted area. The set is in a wooden box with hook fastenings. There are 12 bougies of various diameters. The makers mark is on the instruments but not case 'Med Supplies, Sheffield. All instruments are present and held in place by metal clips.
