DescriptionShoulder - recent subcoracoid dislocation, with indented fracture of the head of the humerus.
The glenoid is bruised and the anterior portion of labrum has been completely detached. The head of the humerus shows a deep recent fracture indentation on its postero-medial aspect measuring 4 cm. in length, 1.3 cm. broad, and .7 cm. deep. Then the anterior lip of the glenoid is placed in the depressed fracture the great tuberosity of the humerus occupies the glenoid fossa. The bicipital groove, owing to rotation, looks outwards and backwards. The tendon of the biceps was intact.
