DescriptionSpecimen of loose body removed from knee joint. It is concavo-convex in shape. The convex surface is irregular. The surface consists of bone at the centre of the specimen a grooveor craft running transversely is present. The concave surface is cartilagenous, smooth and white but at the centre of this surface there are two areas where tussue is looser cancellous type. This would however appear to be an osteochondritis dessecans.
