DescriptionDry specimen in a Perspex box. Fibro-cartilaginous loose bodies from a knee joint, removed by arthrotomy from the knee of an adult male. Each loose body is flattened, irregular and nodular and in their dried condition present a number of depressions and pits. They appear to be calcareous but the basis of their structure is fibrocartilage.
