From a young person the subject of paralysis from poliomyelitis in infancy. The bones are stained green from immersion of the limb in Müller's fluid. Though of fair bulk the bones are uniformly light, delicate, and smooth. The foot has preserved to some extent its ligaments. The distal epiphysial lines of conjugation are still present in the tibia and fibula and the surfaces of the diaphyses are smooth without evidence of muscular or fibrous attachment.
