The preparation is the distal portions of a left tibia and fibula, with the talus, navicular cuboid and remains of the calcaneum. The fibula, talus and calcaneum all show fracture
From a young adult male whose foot was severely crushed. Much of the calcaneum was removed as loose fragments through the lacerated wound at the heel. Early amputation followed the onset of septic cellulitis
