Descriptionhand-held device was used for self administration of Trilene (Trichloroethylene) for obstetric analgesia. White metal cylindrical body with a smaller section at the bottom. From the smaller section is a perpendicular tube which would be attached to a face mask to allow inhalation. Around this are a series of ventilation holes and a gauge showin max and min levels. The top of the inhaler has a cream coloured screw cap which reads 'To charge drain and pour in 15 ccs trilene'.
