DescriptionFlat square base with rubber suckers underneath. Cylindrical body with a narrower domed cylinder in top. The top has a flat white metal adjustment ring whcih is marked in red with 'Cyprane Ltd.' A port from the side would allow a tube to be attached. Both base and body are khaki coloured.
Used by during childbirth, the anaesthetic Trilene (trichloroethylene) was inhaled through a face mask attached to the rubber tubing and the vaporising chamber. The Trilene was poured into the chamber to be turned into a vapour.
