TitleTestis showing Fibroma
DescriptionSpecimen and Histological Glass Slide x18
Description of specimen;
The testis is somewhat enlarged and an ill-defined area, rather darker and redder in colour than the rest of the testis, is apparent at the upper pole. The epididymis shows no abnormality. The cut surface of the tumour is smooth, homogeneous and gives a suggestion of translucency. The line of demarcation between the tumour and the testis is sharp. Externally, the tumour area is lighter in colour than the adjacent tissue, is smooth and looks avascular. Histologically it is a fibroma.
