From a male aged 3 years in whom a swelling at the left testis had been noticed during two months. Exposure showed a tumour, apparently cystic, in relation to the head of the epididymis.
The spleniculus is smooth, of a purplish colour and on section solid, brownish-red, homogeneous and vascular and with numerous discrete white points throughout its substance. Microscopic examination showed the structure of a spleen with the characteristic malpighian bodies, pulp, sinusoids and fibrous trabeculae.
