Removed by suprapubic cystotomy from a 66 year old male.
The prostate is moderately enlarged. At its vesical urethral orifice a congested, flattened, pedunculated tongue of tissue projects into the vesical cavity and may have produced by valvular action aggravation of the obstruction caused by the prostatic hypertrophy.
