From a male aet 11 years whose symptoms suggested those of vesical calculus. An abscess forming in the perineum had resulted in a urinary fistula. On autopsy there was found extensive bilateral tuberculous pyelonephritis with dilatation and tuberculosis of the ureters.
Most of the prostate and the adjacent portion of the trigonum have been destroyed by tuberculous ulceration . The right ureter is dilated and thickened and a hairpin-shaped bristle passes through the perineal fistula, while another is introduced into the urethra.
