A stricture of the urethra commences some 35 mm. from the external urethral orifice and involves some 40 mm. of the cavernous urethra. In the course of injection some wax has perforated the epithelium at the stricture and passed into the cavernous tissue. The lumen is narrow at the stricture and the wall thick. The urinary bladder is thickened and diminished in capacity and its epithelial surface irregular.
