The urinary bladder is of small capacity and its epithelial lining smooth except for granular and warty areas, the result of the implantation of schistosoma haematobium. Parts of both ureters are thickened especially the right which shows warty growths of schistosomiasis. The kidneys are normal but the epithelium of the right renal pelvis and inferior calyx major is velvety from schistosomiasis.
