DescriptionTwo pencil sketches on paper by artist Ines Hermione Mulford. These sketches relate to ED.CS.2021.8.3 and showcase the artist developing the scene. The drawings are sketched within a circular outline.
One scene depicts a robotic operating theatre. The surgeon can be seen at the console and one other theatre team member is shown attaching a robotic arm to the machine. This image also includes a cut away scene in the centre showcasing a close up of the robotic instruments.
The second and more completed drawing depicts a surgical view threw the da vinci console in the centre with the surgeons hands and surgical controls in front. At either side of this scene two gowned theatre team members can be seen. The four drapped robotic arms can be seen hovering above the image.
This artwork is part of commissioned work for the Body Voyager Gallery development in 2020-2021. This artwork is clearly the designs and work up for ED.CS.2021.8.3
