All slides feature a sticker with 'Department of Medical Illustration University of Aberdeen' printed on and were likely used for training purposes at the uni or as examples of eye conditions that Ophthalmologists could cross reference. Part of 13 donated objects from the ophthalmology collection once belonging to P.K. Ray and used by Mr Frank Green FRCSEd.
