DescriptionA 3D models of a 55 year old gentleman affected by an ameloblastoma, a locally aggressive benign cystic tumour that develops most often in the jaw, in this case in his left posterior maxilla. He was treated in 2017 with partial resection of the left hand side of his maxilla and rehabilitated with an obturator, a removable prosthesis of his teeth, as per patient’s preference. The patient then requested a fixed rehabilitation, which required the positioning of 2 titanium implants to his left zygoma in 2020. Due to the small amount of bone available, planned and guided placement of the implants was required.
The 3D model shows the patient anatomy and the fitted implant with drill.
