A male of 67 developed Addison's disease and was successfully treated by steroids for 3 years. He then developed obstruction due to a carcinoma of the pelvic colon which, at laparotomy, was found to have spread extensively in the peritoneal cavity. At necropsy both adrenals were seen to be virtually destroyed by tuberculous caseation. No tuberculosis was discovered elsewhere.
