DescriptionTin medical box which contains various types of instruments including medicine used by R.R.Murray during his time with the British South Africa Company (1911-1937). The tin has the manufacturer name of 'Tabloid' on the side. The tine has one large section which holds a mixture of instruments including opthalmology instruments and syringes. The other side has a locked compartment which contains powdered medicines and hypodermic needles. The hypodermic needles are from Thackray's and J. Gardner & sons. The medicine includes a bottle of glycerine of borax.
