DescriptionBelow-the-knee aluminium prosthesis with foot. Lower leg shaft and foot enclosed in protective synthetic outer shell. Adjustable leather thigh corset attached by two hinges, customised for a very thin thigh stump. Adjustable leather strap connecting back of aluminium body to back of corset for additional support and flexibility. Leather strap attached to front of leg shaft would have connected to hip or shoulder belt (now lost) for additional support.
