DescriptionLower limb aluminium prosthesis for an adult. Aluminium lower leg shaft, leather foot attached with rigid ankle, two hinges connecting to leather lace-up corset. Adjustable leather strap attached to front of aluminium shaft for connecting to hip or shoulder belt giving additional support (now lost). Adjustable leather strap connecting back of leg shaft to corset for optimised fit. Leather strap attached to outside of thigh corset would have connected to hip/shoulder belt.
