Graduated at Queen's University Belfast, where she graduated MB ChB in 1924. Held house surgeon posts at the Royal Ear hospotal, Kind Edward VII Hospotal, Windsor and the Birmingham and Midland Ear and Throat Hospital. After further postgraduate study she became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1931 and set up a consultant practice. Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon to Bruntsfield Hospital and the ENT infirmary, Edinburgh and the Redlands Hospital for Women, and the Dunfermline and West Fife Hospital. Married to Mr C.R Duncan Leeds FRCSEd.
