DescriptionA leather surgical bag or case belonging to Douglas Arthur Crow a ENT surgeon who graduated from Edinburgh in 1911, served in WW1 with the RAMC in Salonika and became an ENT surgeon based in Brighton after studying under Chevalier Jackson in Philadelphia.
The bag contains:
An Opthalmoscope in case by Curry & Paxton London
An Otoscope in a case by Klinostik, Super Diagnostic
A wooden box containing syringes and needles (Caution when handling))
3 head torches (2 made by KLINOSTIK REGD. BRITISH MADE)
1 Pen torch by C Davis Keeler company
2 stethoscopes
A transilluminator in two boxes with two different size mouthpieces and a lead from Greys Inn Road Suppliers.
2 Metal syringe and needle holders, one of which has the syrine and needle present
1 wooden box containing a resonator/transformer?
1 locked leather case
1 metal case with a thin metal object with a light on end? Donor believed this could be a bronchscope?
