DescriptionFour filing folders of 35mm slides relating to Forensic Dentistry. The slides include, information on methods of identification, dental identifcation and forensic evidence, images of crime scenes, bodies at various stages of decomposition and images relating to the Ruxton Murder. There are also text teaching slides and images of teaching cases of Leprosy. (64 slides in total)
The slides are presumed to have been used in teaching and came from the house of Dr John Southam, FRCSEd, Vice Dean of RCSEd Dental School, Dean of Edinburgh Dental Hospital and School.
