DescriptionAuricula. A supernumerary cervical
Removed from the neck of an adult female in whom an accessory auricula projected from the skin at the anterior margin of about the middle of the sternomastoid muscle.
The extraneous nodule forms a blunt curved projection with a concavity towards the skin and the apex of the projection directed distally. From palpation it was quite obvious that the accessory auricula contained cartilage.
