TitleSugar bowl
DescriptionThe bowl was made by JD&W and has the hallmark of Sheffield 1922.
It is inscribed: “Presented to Colonel Henry Wade CMG DSO FRCSE on his marriage by original members of the 1/1st Scottish Horse Field Ambulance 1914 1918”. A label attached reads: “This should be given to one of the officers of the 1st SHFA”. Two cigarette boxes and and the sugar bowl were all gifts to Sir Henry Wade on the occasion of his marriage. He was married at Holy Trinity Church on 18th September 1924 to Marjorie Francis Tytler.
