Description166 glass lantern slides in two wooden cases ecording what seems to be a posting to a military unit as part of the Mobile Bacteriological Laboratory East Africa from c.1939. Included are images of the laboratory and military environ, as well as images of local people. (see attached document for further details)
There is a series of different kinds of fish in states of decay, presumably looking at fungi/ bacterial development.
A number of slides feature animal parts, possibly with accompanying microscopy slides of cells/ bacteria.
At least 50 slides of microscopy and cultures on petri dishes.
There are a number of hand drawn plans for instruments such as a cultivation tank and septic tank.
