DescriptionA man of 59 developed a mass in his left axillary lymph nodes diagnosed as a reticulum cell sarcoma. He died a year later despite intensive therapy. Widespread dissemination was found at necropsy.
A tumour nodule in the right side of the thyroid has been sectioned to reveal a pale grey homogenous surface. Several small nodules can be seen beneath the capsule in the left lobe.
