DescriptionSerbian medal produced to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Battles of Cer (16-19 August 1914) and Kolubara (3-9 December 1914), incased in leather box with silk and velvet lining. Inscription inside the lid reads 'CER Kolubara' 1914-1884. The medal has 'Cer Kolubara' in cerillic, with the dates and makers mark of 'M' at the bottom. It is made of guilded metal.
Battle of Kolubara- Victory for Serbia over Austro-Hungarian armies during WW1 as Austro-Hungarian armies were driven back to the Serbian boarder.
Battle of Cer- Battle on the mountain of Cer between Austria-Hungary and Serbia during the arly stages of the Serbain Campaign in WW1. Serbia's victory of Austria-Hungary marked the first allied victory over the central powers.

Duke Stepa Stephanovic (1856-1918)- commander of Second Army, defeated Austria-Hungary forces on Mountain of Cer winning the first victory in WW1.
Duke Radomir Putnik (1847-1917)-had the higest ranking army in WW1 Serbian armies, drawing up the war plans that helped with the victories over Cer and Kolubara.
Duke Zivojin Misic (1855-1921)- Commanded the first Serbian army in the Kolubara battle.
