The cyst was easily enucleated and the patient obtained immediate relief. The cyst measures 12 x 10 cm. and appears to be unilocular. The contents before fixation were fluid and are still semitranslucent. A thin layer of thyroid tissue remains attached near the lower part of the preparation.
