DescriptionCarcinoma of the pancreas. from a male aged 56 years.
The specimen comprises pylorus and duodenum, having a total length of approx. 24 cm. The salient feature is the presence of a large mass measuring approximately 9cm in long axis and occupying the gorssly dilated proximal duodenum. The cut surface of the mass shows considerable variegation with focal congestion and cyst formation.
Histological examination showed the lesion to be an adenocarcinoma of the pancreas. Clinical history is in the GC ledger
