DescriptionCholesterol gall-stones from the Gall-bladder.
Removed by cholecystotomy from a multipara aged 60 years, a short, stout, plethoric woman who had had recurrent attacks of epigastric pain during many years.
The gall-stones are of cholesterol. They are all of much the same size. Four of them are fused together by their adjacent facets and one facetted on two surfaces remains separate. A small facet at one of the inferior angles of the quadrilateral mass has a small circular facet which has doubtless been in contact with a small and separate gall-stone.
