DescriptionGall-stones from the gall-bladder,
From a married woman aged 28 years who gave a history of recurring biliary colic during some months. She was well-developed and examination was absolutely negative. On coeliotomy the gall-bladder was found to be small. It contained a number of small, rounded, dark calculi and thick dark-coloured bile.
The calculi after being washed and dried have become light in colour. They are small, discrete, more or less spherical and yellow. Their composition appears to be of cholesterol.
