TitlePlain mirror
DescriptionPlain mirror
Although a plain mirror with a ball and socket joint was not new, this one incorporates improvements introduced, in the 1860s, by Mr. Keissler (London). The advantages claimed for it were a screw to stabilize the mirror at the desired angle, lightness due to smaller size, thinner glass and mounting and an ivory, instead of a metal, handle. Vide Brit.
