The preparation is six concretions of calcified faecal matter (known as faecoliths)
Removed post mortem from the transverse colon of a male aged 9 years who died of mesenteric lymph vascular tuberculosis. Abdominal pain and recurrent vomiting had been present during the last fortnight.
The coproliths are irregularly spherical and three of them have been bisected. They are of a light yellow colour and on section appear arranged in ill defined laminae.
