From a middle-aged woman, who had had a small painless nodule on the right side of her neck most of her life, which had been increasing in size for two months prior to excision.
The spheircal nodule measured some 2cm in diameter, was firm and had fibrocartilagenous appearance and consistance centrally.
Microscopic examination showed the tumour to consist of masses of basal cells set in a mixoid stroma containing myoepithelial cells. Squamous cell nests and chondroid nodules were also present.
