The preparation is a portion of injected lung.
The fibrinous inflammation is in the early stages. On the cut surface of the lung are two tuberculous nodules which are sharply defined from the vesicular tissue around. On the surface of a congested pleura the deposit of fibrin forms a network corresponding more or less to the margins of the lobules.
