DescriptionOxford Vaporiser, in which a natural sea sponge in the main tube had been soaked in vinesthere. The patient breathed into the bag, filling it, then rebreathed the air with a valve to the anaesthetic being set to control the amount of vapour inhaled.
Mask includes graduated, but not calibrated control, to regulate amount of vapour or air breathed by the patient.
